I’m a Jefferson County native. I find joy in baking cinnamon rolls, it reminds me of when I was little and my mom would make cinnamon rolls on special occasions. I remember all the smells—that first smell of yeast lets you know that some yummy treats are happening. The smell of warm cinnamon mixed with sweet bread baking that would fill the air and it would bring so much joy to me! Recently, I came across my mom’s recipe that she passed down to me, blending it with mine to make an even better cinnamon roll—making everyday a special occasion and bringing that joy to you as you enjoy my cinnamon rolls.
